4 new finds from Windorah - Carranya, Galway Downs 1 & 2, Manella Outstation

Please read below for the seven new Birdsville finds

Photographs of the Tenham strewnfield seven are in the hyperlinks below - there are seven rather than eight - I'll have to sort this out when I return home in late Aug 07 and am reunited with my chondrites

8 new finds from in and around the Tenham strewnfield 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 undergoing analysis - chemical analysis has been done and thin-slides, emp and petrology to follow - JCU have just begun a project to assist in getting these submitted for nomenclature but this as you will be aware will be a long and ongoing process particularly when they have to be compared against all known falls in and near the strewnfield - one perhaps may be a Lake Machattie but two appear to be new and different Ingella Station finds and the rest certainly appear to be nothing like Tenham

I must admit to some confusion about the known Whitula Creek find - the metsoc data suggests it was found in the Ingella area but Whitula Creek is a damn long way away from Ingella - only time will tell what the two new Ingella finds are

1 new find from Gladstone with more specimens to follow

1 new find from Hidden Valley being followed up though this may be a tektite

7 new finds from the Birdsville area in Queensland - thin sections done - provisional names sought - awaiting emp results prior to formal submission to metsoc - links below - Memie 1 and Memie 2 are indeed two different finds which confirms my gut feeling although they were found only a 100 metres apart !
